Septic Tank and Drain Field Service

Standard Septic Tank and Drain Field Service

Your septic system is important to your real estate investment. Your drain field, or dry well, is part of your septic system that allows your treated effluent to seep into the ground, to be filtered and treated through natural bacteria action. Routine maintenance of your septic system is essential for easy drain flow.

Your Septic System itself is unique. Every gallon of waste you flush down your toilet goes into your septic system. Your septic tank must digest all of this.

Without proper maintenance over the years, sludge and other debris cannot be digested by the bacteria in the system. They accumulate in the drain field, causing a breakdown in your system. We can help you avoid this with proper care.

Grease Traps Cleaning and Septic Inspections

Thorough Grease Traps Cleaning and Septic Inspections

Grease Trap Cleaning

Grease traps require special care, just like Septic Tanks. When you need grease trap service, we’ll remove the lids of the traps and clean them by pumping and scraping until the grease is gone.

Septic Inspections

A licensed contractor should do your septic inspections. At Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup, our qualified plumbers are certified to inspect any Septic System.
We open the tank and distribution box lids to check the state of the drain field. This method determines if there are any system malfunctions. We document the result for everyone’s protection and convenience.
Bacteria

Facts about Bacteria and Enzyme Products

Your septic tank should contain bacteria because they produce enzymes. Exposing your Septic Tank to our bacteria and enzyme products helps break down the waste entering your system. This is necessary for proper septic tank maintenance due to the various kinds of products that we flush and wash down the drains.
