Johnson’s Sewer and Drain Contractors, Inc

In 1974, Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Johnson bought the Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup franchise. At the time, they were successfully running the Johnson Truck Sales Lot in Easton, Maryland. The Johnsons, like many other Americans, had the dream of expanding their ownership of different companies to help support their growing family.

Creation of Successful Plumbing Franchise

They continued to work hard, and then unfortunately, the property they were operating their truck sales was sold. The Johnsons decided to utilize this opportunity and push forward with growing the Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup Franchise.

The Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup Corporation representatives went to Talbot County and signed what would later become the best family-owned franchise on the Eastern Shore.

How We Transformed into a Popular Plumbing Business

By learning through trial & error and using only the best products & equipment, the Johnson family and their valued employees have made Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup a household name on the Delmarva Peninsula.

They never gave up. By giving 110% of quality and care to the citizens of Delmarva, they turned their dream into a reality. To this day, the second generation continues to operate on the original guiding principles to prosper and grow the company throughout the 13 counties of
Delmarva.
