Water Jetting: Cutting Through the Clog

If there’s something blocked. And it don’t look good. Who you gonna call? Roto-Rooter Delmarva! Seriously though, have we told you about our superpower called Water Jetting? The name is pretty self-explanatory, but we think that by the time we’ve outlined what it does and how it works, you’re going to be impressed.

What is Water Jetting?

Simply put, Water Jetting (also known as Hydro Jetting) takes ordinary water and propels it at high velocity through severely blocked pipes, effectively shifting debris, resulting in a powerful plumbing pipe cleaner method that is revolutionizing our pipes and sewers around the country. As you would expect, specialized equipment is needed to generate the 4,000 psi needed for the process. We have a number of mobile water jet trailers and trucks that can be swiftly manoevred to the site and target the heart of the blockage.

The process is a lot more sophisticated than simply trying to hose out a buildup of grime. As mentioned, the water is activated at very high pressure, so in addition to industrially strong hoses, we also employ a collection of nozzles. Each nozzle design empowers us to perform a number of different actions. This allows us to create an effective, purposeful method of not just shifting the problem but actively achieving plumbing pipe cleaner that alleviates current and future buildup issues.

What’s So Great About Water Jetting?

There are so many reasons to love Water Jetting! A big one for us is that absolutely no chemicals are used or even needed. It’s only the power of normal ol’ water. This makes it extremely environmentally friendly, a truly clean drain cleaner, and completely non-invasive. Despite the lack of additional solvents, we can achieve impressive results. From breaking up large clumps of debris, liquifying grease buildup, and even breaking through concrete and mortar. Did we mention that this is all done without any damage to the pipes?

The non-invasive nature of Water Jetting allows us to tackle a host of different situations; there’s no need for digging or dismantling, which makes it a perfect approach for hard-to-reach blockages. And, unlike mechanical drain clearing techniques, there’s no danger of Water Jetting and damaging the pipe structure. It’s also extremely versatile; there’s really not much that Water Jetting can’t shift, clear, or clean.

Time To Bring Out The Big (Water) Guns?

So, we love Water Jetting, but obviously we wouldn’t recommend it for something like cleaning the kitchen sink drain. This is more of a heavy-duty approach for long-standing or recurring problems. If you are suffering from any of the following issues, Water Jetting may just be for you.

Recurring Clogs: If you’re experiencing frequent clogs despite regular cleaning, it’s a sign that there’s a buildup deep within your pipes.

Slow Drains: Slow-draining sinks, tubs, or toilets often indicate a partial blockage. This may be the result of grime building up over time. They are notoriously difficult to clear with even mechanical clearing techniques. This is exactly the type of clog that responds well to the clean drain cleaner known as Water Jetting.

Foul Odors: There’s no reason to just put up with it. Persistent bad smells coming from your drains can be a sign of trapped debris and buildup. This is one problem you don’t need in your life.
